because I use PRO\E............... and always use the powerful one
I just started using solidworks, and bought the SolidWorks 2011 book which covers beginner to advanced topics, and is very comprehensive. I often use the book as a reference to go through. You can get it @ http://solidworksbook.com/
One must understand that whether Proe or Solidworks or Inventor or Solidedge or NX or Catia they are just tools. Finally what you make using them matters.
For a singular part, even MDT may probably do the job for solid parts. Solidedge is quite strong in Sheetmetal too. Hence, I would prefer to keep away from such a topic. One must evaluate whether one needs a fly swatter or a cannon. If the need is to swat a fly a cannon is not needed.
