I read an interesting article on Lead Energy.org recently. Blogger Mckenna Morrigan states her opinion on community solar projects. She explains this "market-deployment strategy" can expand access to clean energy, provide jobs, spur local investment, and drive down the cost of solar panels.
But solar projects have been slow to materialize. She names two statewide community solar programs along with new state and local policies that could encourage community solar development.
But do you think community solar will catch on?
