"The huge energy can be saved if the VFD is installed for fan and pump application. Also, the process control becomes better with use of VFDs. The higher electric and mechanical stress can be avoided as the V/F ratio is increased gradually."

I've worked as a Electrical Process Control Tech in the past and I am interested reading your blog regarding Frequency Converters. Most of my experience has been with Siemens Drives. My most recent experience has been with teaching and using AutoCAD, creating Electrical and Mechanical Design drawings. It so happens that I am just starting work for a Tobacco Processing Facility that sells most of its output to China. We have Chinese Quality Inspectors working on-site.
