Can someone share their experience using the Mikini 1610L CNC Machining Center in a production environment? What machining center of the same class would you recommend as an alternative to the Mikini?

Thank you.

Cheers

what kind of job do you do? what kind of material do you machine with it?
Mostly machine parts, prototypes and short runs: aluminum 80%, CRS-HRS 15% and other (SS, Brass, Titanium) 5%.

I have never used one of these before, but I work in a heavy production environment. With a 3 hp spindle it is most definitely a light-duty machine. I wouldn't push it however. It appears to be similar to desk-top prototype R and D machines. Not one well suited for production.
