Hi  Saloni :

The HVAC process uses desuperheater for heat recovery (waste energy). Like in a Refrigeration plant, where condensation energy used to be dumped into the ambient air. With a desuperheater, the wasted energy can turned into hot water to heat a room or used somewhere else in the process.

"Desuperheater units are located between the compressor and condenser to utilize the high-temperature energy of the superheated refrigerant gas. "

Hi all. Just wanted to let you know the HVAC training videos have been replaced with a more comprehensive HVAC training certificate course. See

There is a tour of the refrigeration and air conditioning course there too. Available as download, on USB or as HVAC online training course.

This HVAC training video sample is from the HVAC section of the Online Industrial Training Video Library ( ). This sample is from the A/C compressors instructional video which reviews the many different types of compressors used in A/C's.
This video covers the different types a technician may come across as well as how to properly test and troubleshoot these compressors.. (See all training videos in the library at )

Hello everyone,

I wanted to find out what instruments and/or tools is everyone using in the field. I know that now at days there are instruments and tools for everything (maybe too many)

What are the top 5 most important tool/instruments that all of you cannot go without?

How would/did you improve any of the tools you are using currently?

Thank you

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your input, but please do not take this as spam as I truly am looking to support current and future customers with the best products possible.

I work for EMB Corp., a switch and current sense relay mfg. located in Ky. USA. Mfg. product since 1972.

We manufacture many types of switch used mostly, but not limited to, the appliances industry. We supply product to major mfg. both in the US and abroad. Competition with offshore mfg is tough but we are still producing by maintaining High Quality/Low cost due to automation and Lean mfg efforts. We do offshore some mfg. but add the value added process of 100% inspection to ensure 100% quality to customer. OK, I know it sounds like spam, just thought I would give some history...

see questions below...

"How can EMB modify its product offerings to better fit your current/future product"?

"What do you see as a need as far as a switch in your application"?
