What is intellectual property can this property be inherited or passed within ones
estate?

Dear Tim,

I do share your frustration regarding Tech exchange, though different from your type of concern, but definitely in issues raised by me. But I do sometimes get interesting messages which do kind of re-affirm that what you do with sheer logic, most of the times, is correct, though may need multi-point analysis to prove the concept/design to be accurate, and that involves making business sense out of the ideas...Do hang on, be patient, you will achieve what you want to.

I think I should have started here first. Initially when coming across this EngineeringExchange site I was looking for wisdom regarding Pneumatic engineering; however, there appears to be little if any exchange of any kind there thus far.

Out of frustration I happen to look around the rest of this site when I came across this particular group of folks. Many of you are talking my language.

I think I now have a reason to stay with this Exchange. I hope I can look forward to a little more feedback with this group of fellows.

I believe in your particular case you would need to seek a utility patent for
more secure protection, but you could also use a design patent with limited protection of the inner workings and only its unique design overall would be patented.

For all. I am undecided between spending a lot of time and money trying to patent a new design of wind turbine, or simply and cheaply registering the design. The function of the turbine is dependent upon the design, or the way it looks. It cannot work if it doesn't look like the shape I have designed.
I am not experienced at this but would it be better to register the design, or patent?
Your thoughts please.
ps Mr Whitfield, I assume you meant weird. And does your association have an affiliate in Australia? I look forward to listening to invention radio.

Inventors just as myself entangle themselves with great functional new product development, but lets face it sometime it can be weared ones as well, Inventors
need to incorporate business and entrepreneural skills before over investing
the great hype and survey the market potential.

HI All,

I am new to this group.

Is anyone interested in starting new Design Firm in Dubai / UAE

I am looking for someone who can finance and participate as well, if possible in a new venture. This may not be the right time for having good business there. But certainly good for formation as the prices of many things are down at present. I am planning for a Free Zone Establishment, so we have 100% ownership. Plus there is no Income Tax.
Please leave a message on lpd111@gmail.com if interested.
