There are 3 types of 3D modelling .
1. Wire frame modelling:
In this model3D representation of objects is shown by using lines, arcs and circles. It contains edge details or skeletal of object.
2. Surface modelling:
3D objects are made up of opaque surfaces i.e. the inner portion of the object is hollow. Details behind the surfaces are not shown.
3. Solid modelling:
In this method a solid 3D object is produced which looks like solid object made of a material like wood. The solid thus produced can be cut into pieces. Mass properties of solid models can be determined.
