It is with immense pleasure that
Industrial Process News features
Concurrent Systems INC Ltd as their
preferred ‘Company of the Month’.
Concurrent Systems INC Ltd or CSI,
established in late 1980’s, is a leading
authority in design document and
business process management. CSI
noticed a gap in the market for SMB’s in
the Engineering sector, looking for a Multi-
CAD PLM solution not constrained by a
CAD system. With their team of technical
experts and ex engineers, they developed
DDM which is now one of the key players
in the PLM market today.
Managing Director, Joe McBurnie said
“We live in the digital age where we
create masses of design documentation.
Many companies manage this data badly
and this really affects the efficiency and
profitability of the business.”
DesignDataManager or DDM as its known
is an easy-to-use affordable document,
CAD, project data, workflow and supply
chain management solution. DDM has
been designed to protect the integrity of
data, streamline your business processes
and provide you with full audit tracking,
in a managed, controlled and easy-to-use
package.
Joe continued: “DDM streamlines a
company, even in a declining economy. In
essence, it restructures companies to make
them even more profitable and efficient.”
Speaking about the future of the
Concurrent, Joe explained: “Just like all
companies we aim for continual growth
and are looking to expand into other
business arenas, extending our footprint.
We are currently involved in three projects
which involve four or five sites globally
(China, Sweden, Taiwan, USA, Europe) and
we want to break the barriers in terms of
real-time information.”
“In the process we will be developing
our current products and solutions as
well as designing new services. The key is
simplicity and making solutions beneficial
to users. We want to do it similar to Apple
the iPhone/iPad, in the sense that they
have taken hi-end technology and made it
simple to use for everybody – accessible at
the touch of a button.”
