Mr. Kalkert:
From my limited experience, getting power onto the grid is most difficult and according to one source in an upcoming story, it's getting worse. Grid owners are a separate group of investors.
After that, reliability is a constant worry…
Rudy,
In addition to safety on the wind site, there are many issues regarding land owner's. Many wind farms are built on leased land and the operator (owner) must comply with land owner's requests and restrictions. There are additional problems wit…

Can someone tell me what the biggest problems facing the operators of wind farms.
Maybe not where the operator knows at what wind is a disorder.
Work operators with maps? and/or engineering modells? In 2D or 3D?
Hi Rudy,
Welcome to the Windpower Exchange. I just noticed your question/discussion and I am not sure I understand what you are asking for. Are you wondering what challenges a wind plant owner faces? What challenges a power transmission operator faces? Or what challenges face a wind plant in general such as fluctuation in wind speeds and wear and tear of the turbine? If you can clarify your question, I will try to answer as best I can.
Thanks
