A question on bevel gear sourcing
Does anyone know of a gear supplier who makes small custom bevel gears (pitch diameter around .187")? This is for a hand operated surgical drill; gears from dental drills would probably work as well, if they're small enough. We have a project that involves gears with a maximum OD of 5.8mm (~.205"), that transmit mechanical torque 90 degrees.
