Hi Brian. This is final project towards my Master of Mechanical Engineering Degree on which I am working after completing all courses. I designed it on Pro E Wildfire 4.0, machined all parts with my hands on various machine tools, assembled it, interfaced it with a PC controlling it with Vissim software. I am doing structural & thermal analysis using Pro Mechanica and also doing manual calculations for my thesis. This device is used to find thermal conductivity of metals, plastics, wood, etc. LINEAR HEAT CONDUCTION DEVICE (WATER COOLED) FRONT VIEW.doc
Thank you for sending over that suggestion! I really enjoyed reading his recent post about Etiquette! I grew up in a household where hand-written thank you notes were done for everything - my mom was Emily Post 2! But it did help prepare me for the business world.
I learned a couple of things from his post - so thank you!
I really need to update that section of my website - there are so many other "guru's" I need to add, including Mr. Harding. Thanks again for your suggestion!
Should you need mechanical component help out this way...also check out this powerful conversion calculator: http://joshmadison.com/software/convert-for-windows/
Makes sense, Brian! If you see any research on the site that you'd like to gain access to (not all of the research have links/direct access), please let me know, and I'd be happy to forward you the research data.
