Hello LifeSavers and everyone,

I need dimensions of Piston, Connecting rod and Crankshaft of The Caterpillar 3512 Generator Set Engine.

In order to apply FEA.

I'm doing a research in university.

Any help will be appreciated.

We are looking for Solidworks modeling or Simulation projects at TrueCADD.com

We have highly skilled FEA/CFD experts too. We have executed various projects related to mechanical design, drafting and 3D modeling.

I teach design seminars for plastics, sheet metals, metal extrusions, metal castings, and platings coatings and surface finishes.  (See designseminar.com) Until 9-11 I would teach in various cities for four days every month.  This has been on hold even longer  because of the current economy.  I plan to start this up again and have everyone come to San Diego. So much travel for me is a killer.  Is it time now?  Do you plan to attend any  training seminars  to expand your knowledge?  Is your company ready to invest in your training? We can help each other with your feedback.

Hi,

I would appreciate if any one can point me to a tutorial that will allow me to use solidworks to create MEMS structure by mimicking the wafer process of deposition, etching etc involving non-planar structure.

Regards,

Susant

Synch tech is really great, it makes the designing sth different from sketch guided features, sth very flexible and friendly

Bbut why it has not yet implemented in solidworks maybe it is a protected invention for Siemens?

I have the same problem , and finally i give up and start manualy type the numbers in the table or delete the table and making it again. I think this is a still not fix bug from SW.

I have tried to modify them by clicking on the top of the column and changing it to custom and manually typing in the letters, but they dont change over. If I type in "A",  it still shows up as "D" on the hole.
