So, I have installed proE WF 5 but it tell me no license available even I gave the license file when installing
Finally I discovered that I must keep the license file where I I’ve browsed first and not remove it. Because proE will not take the file but just the addressee so for example if your license is on the CD you have first to copy it in your hard drive and than when the install wizard ask a license browse to this file in the hard drive an keep it there

Hi All Engineers...I have installed ProE wf 4..when I try to open it , it dont start and tell " Unable to launch application because no valid configuration (*.psf) files were found" ...Any one can solve this problem..

Hello Engineers

I am a SolidWorks Drafter, I have a good experience with Sheet metal and Weldments I have recently heard that ProE is more powerful than SolidWorks, i Have seen some video (SolidWorks VS ProE)

I tried it for 2 weeks but i didn't yet find the advantages of ProE and i find that SolidWorks is more flexible

@Bryan Daniels : You cannot do a save as like ACAD since the models are parametric and are feature based. However, you can save as a Proe neutral file and have ATB (Associative Topology Bus) on in WF 3. Though this is not the preferred way. It is better to upgrade all the seats to WF5. I am not sure whether the Feature recognition does the trick. Search the config.pro for "frt...." and enable it.

I'm Bryan and though I'm pretty good with Inventor, I'm fairly new to Pro/E. My company is switching from Inventor to Pro/E and I've got an awful lot of parts and assemblies to convert over. I am using WF 5.0, so it makes it easier, but everyone else is using WF 3.0. Does anyone know if there is a way to save to a previous version of Pro/E? In Inventor and ACAD this is easy, but I cannot find a way to do it here! Any ideas? tia
