A question on bevel gear sourcing

Does anyone know of a gear supplier who makes small custom bevel gears (pitch diameter around .187")?

This is for a hand operated surgical drill; gears from dental drills would probably work as well, if they're small enough.

We have a project that involves gears with a maximum OD of 5.8mm (~.205"), that transmit mechanical torque 90 degrees.

The teeth are cut at an approximately 34 degree angle to the long axis of the gear, and are crowned.

We are very limited in the amount of room we have; hence the small size. We have samples of two gears which work quite well, but cannot source them.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Try All American in Farmingdale NY (Long Island) @ (631) 420-9001. They've been able to quote a number of small custom gears for us.
