This has been a buzz in my google alerts all week, so I thought I would share it because it actually is pretty neat. Universal Gripper Utilizes Coffee Bean-Filled Balloon. Anyone have any additional info on it?

@Andrew D. - I actually saw something along the lines of robotic legs helping the handicapped, it's called Top-Secret Robotic Legs Helping The Paraplegic Walk Again. I don't know why it's so "Top Secret", but hey, it's a "step" in the right direction anyways ;)

Mechatronics meets miniaturization, cool story of how three companies developed Piezo micro motors. http://www.designworldonline.com/articles/6497/21/Mechatronics-Meet...

The new 'exoskeleton' systems are definitely cool, I wonder which development line will produce the 'loader' suits as seen in the Aliens series first? Helping the disabled to move, and making soldiers stronger & more lethal are laudable goals, but a forklift as nimble as a defensive lineman? THAT'S something that will help revolutionize the factories. At least as long as the operators don't quote Sogourney Weaver while 'wearing' the Loader, some of her lines in the 'Loader' scenes are inappropriate for the modern, 'sensitive' workplace.

Yes, I saw this too and thought it was cool. There are similar developments going on in Asia, but these are more focused on help paraplegics walk. It's interesting to watch both developments.

So, I personally loved the Iron Man movies, so my eyes lit up when I saw this:

Iron Man Suit Becoming A Reality

I'm VERY excited to see where this takes us in the future

Well is it anyone that can contribute and give me definition to slip and how its related to friction and microcontroller or sensor mailfunctioning in both , open and
closed system.
